For teams of up to ten people I'll take you through how people read (and therefore how to structure your message); nouns and verbs and why and how abstract nouns kill copy; and how to write headlines.

I always use examples of your writing to show you where you are going wrong. And I'll rewrite your copy to show you how it could have been clearer and easier to read. Very few trainers will rewrite complex copy. I will.

‘There's room for 200 words’

No there isn't.

Unless your ad will be a 48-sheet poster on the wall of a train station, you need to keep the word count down.

No mission statements, no self- congratulatory copy, and no boring descriptions. A headline, 50 words of body copy and an end-line at most.

Better still, opt for just a headline.
